Not sure what to say?

Ben and I worked together at Watkins Glen International for several years. His skill, compassion and humor will always remain with me. I shall always remember the Chili Cookoff contests at Fun One,and our chats on the deck at the Lodge. I am sure I express the sentiments from all of us who worked at Race Medical when Ben was there, in saying that his friendship and dedication will always remain in our memories. Lynn Randall

My desk was just outside Ben's office door for 5 years and it was always a delight to see what new gadget he found. I will never forget the day he came in and told me he bought a new toaster...the same toaster that they use at Buckingham Palace to toast crumpets. It's the little things like that I remember about Ben that make me smile. He cared a great deal about people and my thoughts go out to Marty and family.

Ben was a mentor in many areas of expertise, to many people, at any time. I've known him for many years and unfortunately lost contact with him in recent times, but his knowledge, humor and compassion have made a difference in many, myself included. Marty and Gretchen, I mourn your loss but hope you will remember the joy, fun and sense of self-worth that he has helped all of us realize. He will be missed.

Ben was a great friend, unforgettable person and mentor for me during my years at Thompson. I treasure our time at Thompson working together as well as my memories I have from Watkins Glen Race track. Once he found out I was a fan of racing he made sure he got me passes for my first NASCAR race. He will surely be missed by anyone he touched. My thoughts and prayers are with you, Marty, and your family. God Bless.

I met Dr. Lankheet many years ago when he was an ER doctor. I was so impressed by his gentle ways then and he continued to impress me as a person and health professional. RIP
