A day has not gone by that you have not crossed my mind.
It is an honor to keep your guest book online. After all the help and support you gave me and my daughters, it is the least I could do for you. I also wanted to give others the opportunity to leave you a message today and let you know how much you are loved and missed.
Rest in peace my friend

Christopher was my second father. I am his step children's nanny and still am. I've known the Glatz's for almost 6 years. Once you become a part of thier family there's no turning back as what Christopher always told me, as well as Stefani his daughter. I'm still reminded today of that by her! There are so many memories of "big daddy C" I think i'd probably have to start with... he always was there for me even at 2a.m. when my car broke down, or my big car accident last year. He was the first one to come into the ER room up at Strong Memorial. He stood by me thru all my choices, thru my grandmothers death as well. At times where I didn't have the gas to go to the hospital to see my nephew, there would be 20$ sittin on my car seat. It was the little passionate things that he did that will always be remembered. Christopher was a great man and a true hero and angel! I'm so happy I had the chance to get to know him! He even taught me how to do donuts in his truck and said "have at it"!!! It's wierd knowing when I need help on my car, i can't just run down stairs and find him. It's difficult knowing that when i'm having a bad day he doesn't make me laugh by telling me "those dogs are driving me insane" ... but i can always rely on pictures and memories!!! what a loving mam and a true hero!! AMEN!!!!

I remember being younger, and your dad's biggest concern about me was that i was too much like him.
I sure hope he was right, because i would consider that an honor. Your dad was a truly amazing person, which is clearly visible in the hearts of all the people he had touched and meant something too.

I know I didn't see your dad very often, but he was so much like my own that it didn't matter how much time passed between visits but we always picked up where we left off. He had such a goofy and corny sense of humor that although in high school it seems embarrassing, it became something so significant in all my memories. He was the one that made it possible for me and Chris to go on our first date. No words can express how much better this place was with him in it. All my love <3

I had the plesure of meeting chris, through his Amazing Daughter stefanie who I am still friends with. I remember I was in his car with stefanie and her brother while he took us somewhere...and I remember thinking at that moment.....Stefanie and Anthony have a GREAT FATHER! Christopher was the kind of father that would do ANYTHING for his kids or his kids friends....he was soo friendly and nice to anyone....even if you were a stranger, he didnt treat you like one. My heart and soul reaches out to Stefanie and Logan the most... as well as...Anthony, Haley and Daniel. May God rest his soul and PROTECT HIS AND HIS WIFE'S FAMILY & FRIENDS. They will always be with you in spirit.....God Bless :)

After everything I heard on the news about this story I could not have imagined that this was someone I knew. It was not until yesterday that I found out it was Chris. What a special person. I had the pleasure of working with him when I was right out of college. He always treated me as an equal. I remember a note he wrote in a card on secretarys day telling me that I was not a secretary, I was a co-worker. We worked great together and although we went our separate ways in the job world I did run into him now and again. My love goes out to the entire family new and old. God bless you all and know he will always be with you in things you do, memories you have to meet again one day.
Respectfully, Anna Marie (Pease) Finnegan

Dear Glatz family,

How shocked and saddened I was to learn of Chris' passing. I first met Chris as a teenager at New Hope Fellowship in Batavia. Later, I had the privilege of being Stephanie's first grade teacher at Chestnut Ridge Elementary. What a beautiful and bright little girl! My family and I just moved to Canandaigua this fall and started attending Crosswinds Wesleyan Church.
May the power and presence of the Holy Spirit bring you comfort and peace especially at this time.

From our first meeting 2 years ago, Chris made such an impression upon me. I remember feeling what a great friend he would be. Though I only knew Kimberly through his eyes, his words expressed his great love for her. Chris was someone I admired for that reason, and for the sweet peace that seemed to follow him. May they both be sharing that peace now. May the children find it in the days and months ahead.

There is grace, even in tragedy. There is a legacy from love. In honor of the way Chris lived his life, may we respect and love one another, and not take one single moment for granted. May we bear witness to the love of Christ, so his children can embrace the One unfailing source of comfort and healing. Our prayers are with all of his family and friends.

My body rests in safety. For you will not leave my soul among the dead or allow your holy one to rot in the grave. You will show me the way of life, granting me the joy of your presence and the pleasures of living with you forever. (Psalm 16:9-11)

Uncle Chris, I can not express how much I miss you, but I know God is with you, and taking great care of you. I love you always.

I am a former coworker of Chris when he worked for Sibley Real Estate Servcies. He was a great guy that cared alot for his family and friends. Last week,I ran into him after over 11 years, when I came out to Quail Summit to do a bank inspection. He showed me pictures of his family and his motorcycle. He was very proud of his children, his grandchild and his step children. I am sure they are both in heaven watching over their children, family and friends. My prayers go out to the family at very difficult time. God bless
