"Uncle Dick" stories.
1) I went to Niagara Falls with Uncle Dick, Aunt Alice, Marlene & Crissy and I asked where the Statue of Liberty was, I still get picked on for this. Of course I was like 5-6 yrs. old.
2) Uncle Dick - loved telling the joke - he would feel your shirt or jacket and say is that felt? You would say no, cotton or whatever and he would say "It is now" LOL
You were an amazing Uncle and I have so many amazing memories as a child, playing games, piano, in the pool.
How about the day us girls went Cross Country Skiing and I had never tried, so needless to say there were plops all over the back yard where I kept falling, Marlene & Crissy could not stop laughing and I am sure you and Aunt Alice were laughing while watching out kitchen window.
