Dr. Batt was a loved and dedicated Doctor in Clifton Springs. Everyone remembers how good he was to all his patients.

Dr. Batt was one of the last of the "Old Guard" from the best years of CSHC. I well remember Dr. Batt, Dick Renshaw, John Fahy, Bill Cobbett and several other gentlemen playing tennis on the now long gone tennis court next to the now long gone golf course on the hospital grounds before they became a parking lot. Dr. Batt always took the time to listen carefully to his patients. He was always a gentleman and the consummate professional.
