Greg Burkett Obituary

Greg Burkett On Monday, March 5, 2018, Greg Burkett, husband, father, son, brother and friend, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family and friends, in Cambridge, Mass., following a courageous battle with brain cancer. He was 42. Born in Rochester, Greg attended Fairport High School and was a graduate of Middlebury College in Vermont. Greg was a teacher, mentor, guide and friend to many. Greg's memory lives on in the hearts and minds of the community of friends and family that he played such a central role in. Greg is survived by his wife, Dana; daughters, Etta and Faye; parents, Bob and Kathy; brother, Mike and wife Becki and son Noah; and brother, Joe and husband Tom. A memorial Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, April 7, at 11 a.m. at The Church of the Resurrection in Fairport. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to his family via the website www.gofundme.com/dhq07s.

He was and still is the best dad I could ever have, he was smart, brave, funny and good minded. my daddy will forever be in my heart and guide me throughout my life.
