Caleb Wilke Obituary
Caleb was born on March 29, 1982 to Steven Wilke and Annette Galant White in Odessa, Texas. Caleb's celebration of life began by his participation in sports activities such as T-Ball, Little League baseball (NCLLA), soccer and basketball at Midland Christian School. He graduated from Lee High School, Class of 2000. He received his Associates Degree from Midland College and was working on his Bachelors Degree at UTPB. He was employed by Sprint as the Indirect Account Executive for West Texas. His adult activities included indoor soccer, street hockey, softball, racquetball, paintball, and he was the undefeated X Box Halo Champ among his peers and family members. Caleb and his wife Alise were married on September 10, 2004 at Harvest Time Church in Midland, Texas.
Caleb is survived by his wife, Alise Wilke, and Maximus (AKC) the apple of his papa's eye; his father, Steven Wilke and fiancée, Alison Israel; his mother, Annette Galant White and her husband, David White; brothers, Isaac Wilke, Gabriel (Gabe) Wilke, and soon to be born baby brother, Micah Daniel White; grandfather, Darwin Wilke of Evansville, Tennessee.
Caleb's passion in life was serving Jesus Christ through Invictous, a college and careers ministry whose purpose is "Raising up an unconquerable generation by serving an unconquerable God," and his music ministry at Harvest Time Church.
Caleb, we know that you are doing in Heaven what you loved most on earth ... playing your guitar and worshipping our Lord with angels all around you. "Well done, good and faithful servant."
The family will receive friends at Ellis Funeral Home, Friday, October 20, 2006 between the hours of 6:00 P.M. and 8:00 P.M.
Funeral services have been scheduled for 11:00 A.M. Saturday, October 21, 2006 at Harvest Time Church, 8300 W. Hwy. 191. Interment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park. Arrangements are under the direction of Ellis Funeral Home. To place online condolences visit www.mem.com.
Memorials may be directed to the Caleb Wilke Fund for Children's Recreational Facility at any Wells Fargo location. A fund has also been established for Alise Wilke at Heritage USA in Midland, Texas.

I don't know where to start. Caleb to me has been such a great friend. He was the go to guy at Sprint. The 3rd baseman that was better than me. The friend I could count on to always be there. Always so positive about life. His bear hugs at church would always bring a smile to my face. I can still hear him saying to me "shut the freak up" and it makes me smile.

Isaac, You and your family are in my prayers every day. I cannot imagine the loss that you are experiencing. Caleb was such a unique person. My sister and I have such wonderful memories of hanging out with both of you in high school. I pray that God gives you a tremendous amount of strength during this time. You both were always so much alike. Fortunately, a lot of him will shine through you. What a blessing! You are covered in prayer by so many people and Caleb will be greatly missed.

Our thoughts and prayers are with all of Caleb's family. That covers a lot of people because in addition to Alise, his parents and brothers, Caleb made all of his friends feel like they were part of his family. We feel so grateful to have been part of Caleb's church family, ever since he was a little boy. We watched him grow into a man of God and were so proud of him. As lots of others have said, he and his BIG smile will be missed but we're looking forward to the day when we'll join him in heaven. God's blessings on each branch of Caleb's family.

We have known the boys since they were young. Caleb was special; he always had a smile on his face and a sparkle in his eye. WOW I don't know where to start... Even though we had not been the closes friends the last 5 yrs any time I saw him he had that BIG smile on he's face and always stopped and said hello. When I was told I didn't even believe it but I knew right away that he was and is in a better place. McKinzie was told tonight and she is sad but knows he's looking down on her.
Please know that I think of all of you daily and wish that I could be by your side. Our thoughts and prays are with you everyday.

Caleb is somebody that you would never forget even if you only met him one time. He always had a smile on his face and was always ready to give you a great big hug. I will miss those hugs, those smiles, and his genuine care for other people. We have sweet memories of Caleb, hvaving known him since birth. The last time we saw him, he and his dad were here visiting with us on a deer hunting trip. He also did a little fishing while he was here. May God be with his family and comfort you in your time of sorrow.

My memories of Caleb are sweet and beautiful,because he was beautiful! I knew that he was going to be a special man even when I knew him as a toddler. One of my sweetest memories is having the priviledge of teaching him that he didn't have to be afraid of water. That special day, when I made him feel that his feet were on "solid ground" in the shallow end of the swimming pool, he giggled and never looked back. He was afraid no more. Every now and then when I would run into Caleb just in random places, he always gave a loving hug and was always concerned how my mom was doing. Caleb and I grew up in church together. He was a wanderful person all around. I am truly going to miss his smile and loving heart.

Caleb was a special person to all my family. He will be greatly missed. I keep thinking back to when Caleb and Issac were little toddlers they were so adorable. All I can say is Caleb made it to the place where we all hope to go someday. Caleb is rejoicing and dancing before the Lord. I can only imagine what it must be like. He has touched all our lives.
