Cathy Joan Calhoun Cathy Joan Calhoun, 68, of Midland, Texas, passed away on Friday, December 18, 2020. Cathy was born in Seagraves, Texas on September 16, 1952, to Lloyd Gene Robertson and Eleanor Joyce Smith Robertson. She graduated from Robert E. Lee High School in Midland, Texas in 1970, where she played on the State Championship volleyball team. She married Carl Calhoun on September 3, 1981. They were married 36 years. Cathy worked as an Administrative Assistant for the Midland Central Appraisal District for 31 years. She enjoyed many sports, vacations, and gatherings with family and friends. She attended church services at Stonegate Fellowship. Cathy is preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd Gene Robertson and Eleanor Joyce Smith Robertson and husband, Carl Wesley Calhoun Jr. Cathy is survived by her two brothers, Byron Craig Robertson of Dallas, Texas, Bradley Downing Robertson and wife Janet of Houston, Texas, three children, Ryan Wesley Calhoun of Midland, Texas, Whitney Nicole Smith of Garland, Texas and Alexis Brooke Calhoun of Midland, Texas. She was blessed with 8 grandchildren, Zadyn, Amiya, Taylor, Rylee, Paece, Jett, Chelsea, and Livia. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at The Branch at npw, 3800 N. Big Spring, St. Midland, Texas. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 31, 2020 at 10:00am at Nalley-Pickle in Midland, Texas, with interment to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park.
