July 9, 2023 Edward Frederick Zingerman May 26, 1945 - July 9, 2023 "For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will by no means precede those who are asleep. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord. Therefore, comfort one another with these words." ! Thessalonians 4:15-18 NKJV Edward (Ed) F. Zingerman was peacefully welcomed home by our Lord Jesus on Sunday, July 9, 2023, after a very brief but courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. He was surrounded by his loving family at Christopher Hospice House in Austin, Texas. Ed was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd and Maxine Jarnagin. He is survived by his children Chris Zingerman (Jamie), Lyndsey Cravens (Billy) and Jonathan Zingerman and grandchildren Kaitlyn Zingerman, Kaycee Zingerman, Scott Burch, Spencer Burch, Jonathan Cravens and Jackson Cravens, his brother James Zingerman (Sharlotte), his sisters Valerie Schlagal and Vicki Lindsey, nephews Jason Zingerman, Stephen Simmons, Tim Simmons, Matt Vatankhah and niece, Robin Gonzales. If heaven had a window, I bet we would see Ed tending to the animals, the vegetable gardens and the roses, specifically the yellow ones. Ed - on the day you left us, your rosebush bloomed with one single yellow rose right in the center. You used to say when that rosebush bloomed, you felt Dad's presence. Maybe it was Dad saying "Ed is going to be with me now, tending to the Lord's roses." We will honor Ed's wishes of no services but visitation is welcomed for all. Harrell Funeral Home of Kingsland, Texas will oversee his burial arrangements. Ed will be laid to rest at Lakeland Hills Memorial Park on Park Road 4 in Burnet County, Texas.
