Sherwin Zingerman Obituary
Des Moines, IA - Sherwin Zingerman, born May 29,1931 in Des Moines, IA and departed August 25, 2018 in Tempe, AZ. surrounded by his loving family.
He leaves his wife, Jan, three step-daughters, Denise Burns (Steve), Pamela Bell (Jeffery), Kim Garza (Ric), nine grandchildren, and ten great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his son, Larry and daughter, Jodie Wiles.
He owned and operated Tri-City Maintenance, Inc., for 26 years before selling. He started the business with $300 he inherited from his father. Some of his accounts were installing polyurethane floors in the Coca Cola bottling plant, America West Arena, Palo Verde Nuclear Plant, and computer clean rooms.
Sherwin credited Alcoholics Anonymous for much of his success in business, as well as in life. He loved his family and their welfare was his top priority. He and Jan enjoyed traveling internationally and shared many happy memories as a result. His life was full, and he was a major influence on his friends and family and coworkers.

I have known Sherwin for 45 years as an employer, Subcontractor, and after we both retired, as friends that visit and chat. He was a great inspiration and a wealth of information about all things business. My successful years in business were in great part due to the many things I learned from Sherwin. My condolences to Jan and the extended family.
