Eila Kastner Noel

Eila Kastner Noel, 88, of Midland, Texas passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by family on Thursday, March 12 of natural causes. She was born in Los Angeles, California on December 12, 1926. She married Paul Noel in Santa Barbara, California on September 8, 1946. They were married for 57 years, until his death in 2002. Eila worked alongside her husband in their home building business, Noel Construction Compnay, for over 30 years. They built and decorated over 1,000 homes in Midland, Stanton, Pecos, Sweetwater, and Victoria, Texas during that time. She was active in the Midland Women's Club, the Twentieth Century Club, and Republican Women's Club of Midland. Eila is survived by her four children, Chris Setzer of Montgomery, Alabama, Gregg Noel of Midland, Charles Noel of Midland, and Kirk Noel of Pensacola, Florida; and by nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 14, 2014 at Resthaven Memorial Park.
