I just found out she passed and and it's so heart breaking. I knew Gina when she lived in Savannah and attended SCAD, she was like my big sis. We would do everything together. I remember when she got her Jesus Wept tattoo she was so excited and had the biggest smile. We worked at Macaroni Grill together. She made the best apricot chicken with orzo pasta. There were times we would just sit in her living room and just talked about what we wanted and issues going on . She was a great friend and listener. She was just all around an amazing person. When I joined the military we lost contact. I always thought about her. I miss you Rest in paradise.

I was really sad to hear of Gina's passing. She was my neighbor during her senior year at SCAD and she was a wonderful friend. I remember her working on one of her senior projects. It was a intricate, metal copper-looking flower - a marigold or chrysanthemum. She had curved the metal into individual petals - it was really beautiful. We lost touch after she graduated, but I remember Gina being kind, a good listener, funny, and genuine.

Our hearts are saddened for the entire Vogel family & friends. We always asked for Gina to wait on us at Texas Roadhouse. She was such a delight, always bubbly & gave us time to catch up with her, Jeremy & her Dad. I had similar interests in art & jewelry & was also elated for her to share her next endeavor or project in the works. She was truly such a blessing & a bright light. Although we had not spoken in over a year and our friendship had dwindled down I still thought of Gina frequently and wondered how well she was doing. Gina was one of the most kind, caring and sensitive souls I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. Gina was a great friend to me and I am deeply saddened by this. I hope that her family can find the peace and strength to get this difficult time. Rest in Paradise Gina, You will be missed by many.

The many times Gina and I visited at length in my office were her special gift to me. Her bright smile and endless energy I will never forget. In our last FB Messaging in June, she was explaining her latest tattoo to me. Prayers and warm thoughts to the family.
