Kay Posey Obituary

Kay Gwen Posey, 82, went to her Heavenly Savior Sunday, September 19, 2021. Kay was born and raised in Roscoe, TX. She married the love of her life, Robert E. Posey, in May of 1956. Kay and Robert started their own company, Posey Pipe and Equipment Inc., in 1979 until their retirement in 1998. Kay is preceded in death by her husband Robert; father Jack L. Fitts of Houston; mother Dorothy L. Sowell of Midland and brothers Jack and Kenneth Fitts. She is survived her two sons Lance Posey and wife Pam, and Dale Posey; daughter Melissa Lopez; extended family members Linda Posey Giles of Stephenville, Debbie Giles Dillingham and husband JD of Austin, and Kent Giles of Stephenville. She was an amazing Geema to 7 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. Graveside services will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, September 24, 2021, at Resthaven Memorial Park in Midland with Rev. Paul Thompson officiating. The family suggest memorials be directed to Kindred Hospice- Midland, 1031 Andrews Hwy Suite 203, Midland, TX 79703.
