I want to add my voice of my thankfulness to God for the life of this great man of God, who had a down to earth sense of humor. He was a great supporter of the Department of Women of Texas Northwest Ecclesiastical working with Supervisor Emeritus Mother Victorine Mackey, assigned to teach the mens class in the Jurisdictional Women`s Conventions. I thank God for his loving wife, Lady Regenia Blackmon and the entire family for sharing this great man with us. I pray that his legacy will live on in you and the mantel is raised and moved foward! May God`s choice blessings be multiplied to you all!

To all the Blackmon family well wishers , saints, and friends. There are no words to decribe the emptiness I have inside. My dad was my Pastor, friend, confidante, mentor, teacher, my hero. He will be sorely missed. But our relationship remains inseparable beacause he made me a believer and I know that we will see him again...he fed me when I was hungry, visited me in prison, taught me how to pray, and prayed out of the bondage of drug addiction. I will celebrate13years Nov. 20th 2018 through his ministry and nothis alone but all those who knew the relationship we had, my life will never be the same. Rest in peace Apostle. Thank you Mother Blackmon for taking care of my dad low these 27 years. Love you much. Your son Shawn Andre'

To the Blackmon Family!
What a treasure that God has called home. It was an honor to have known Elder Blackmon. His testimonies of how God brought him from darkness to light will always be remembered. He was a preacher's preacher and we truly enjoyed hearing him bring forth the message from the Word of God. He will definitely be missed.

To our dear sister and friend, Lady Regenia Blackmon. We were saddened to hear of the passing away of our dear brother and friend, Supt. Lee Blackmon, but encouraged by the thought of his Graduation to Eternity! He will truly be missed as he was loved by us and Living Vision Church family. His wisdom left us holding gold nuggets for which we are grateful. We know that no words, cards or flowers can seal the break in your heart, but thankfully we have a Master Comforter who will, for He has promised never to leave you neither forsake you! Please be encouraged to know that we love you and are here for you when you need us, only a phone call away! You and family are in our prayers and hearts.

To live is Christ, to die is gain...
While Rev. Blackmon has gained, yet, loss always leaves a longing for touch, connection and conversation. I did not know him personally, but will converse in eternity.
My heart goes out to Regenia for having valiantly embraced the story of a pastor's wife and companion. While being a child of God, there is more story to write. No doubt, you are prayed up. I pray for your comfort in the quiet times that you want to embrace the man, your husband, who chose you for his helper and friend.
Hugs & hopes,

Sister Regina and the Blackmon family. Elder Blackmon was a gift from God to his people especially when it came to teaching His Holy Word. And I heard a voice from Heaven, saying unto me, Write: 'Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from henceforth.' Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labors, and their works do follow them.

Hi Dad.
I say that almost everyday when I look at your picture.
As a child, the thought of losing you felt unbearable. And even now an empty feeling dwells in the pit of my stomach. But nothing can separate us. Not even death. Because, I discovered, you live in my heart.
Now you rest on dad as God would have for his child whose done a great work, and I'll keep trusting the Lord the way you taught me.
Love you much!

To our dear Sister Blackmon,
We share in your grief at the transitioning of our dear friend, Pastor Lee Blackmon. He was truly a blessing to us and our church for many years. He ministered to our congregation with powerful and God-inspired messages. His training of our men during our annual Men's Conferences has strengthened our Brothers and the Body of Christ. We are here for you in any areas of service that we can provide to you. Love & prayers, Supt. & First Lady Ronnie Fields

My uncle Edgar, I love you!
I added a photo of Odus and all his boys in Dallas. I included this picture because when dad passed you stepped right in and loved us as only a true father could. I know you did it out of respect for your older brother...but, you also did it because you loved us. We are apart of your legacy because you reached out when we needed it most. And as of June-2007 you became our father!
I am forever grateful for the many fond memories that we shared and for the unconditional love that God has given to our family. I thank him for every smile that I shared with you.
Not personally (But the Blackmon Family in general) We've had some real difficult times through the years, but we have always known how blessed we truly are. No amount of money could ever match the value of the genuine love that we have for each other.
This is another one of those difficult times, because I lost my dad - all over again!
To all my family, God knew we would be here at this moment in time (He fashioned our days for us) so stay strong and get closer to Jesus. The Spirit of God is the Comforter, draw nigh.
To my aunt Regenia I can not imagine what's going on in your mind, soul and spirit right now. You not only lost a good godly man but also a loving/caring friend. Thank you for sticking with him until the end.
If ever you feel as if you were (are) not appreciated enough for your efforts on earth, rest assure that your reward in eternity will be great for honoring this priceless man of God.
Love Always-Your nephew,
Edward Downing, Sr.

Lady Regina and the Blackmon family. Our most sincere and heart felt condolences to you during this difficult time. I will certainly cherish the times of fellowship that Supt. Blackmon and I were able to share. He was certainly an inspiration and encouragement to me and I will always remember the times he would come by to worship with us. He had been on my mind the week prior to me learning of his passing. Although my heart is saddened there is joy in knowing he is in his heavenly home. Supt. Blackmon will certainly be missed and our hearts and prayers are with you. I pray you find comfort in the word of God that tells us to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. We are praying for you.

To my dearest cousin Regenia and the Blackmon family, it is hard for us to understand death. Death does not always come with a warning or with time to say our sad farewells. Sometimes it comes, unannounced with no time for even a brief goodbye, but keep in mind, although, in death we have a heart ache no one can heal, we will be able to rejoice in the knowledge that Lee's love will leave a memory no one can steal!
The scriptures tell us;
Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God has prepared for them that love him. - 1 Corinthians 2:9
Rest in Peace Lee
