Marian Dee Richardson

Richardson Marian Dee Richardson, a former longtime Midland resident, passed away at her home in Springtown, Texas, September 21, 2014, her sister Alice Del Bosco of Fairbanks, Alaska, and close friends at her side. Marian was born November 29, 1943, in Witt, Illinois, to Hedwie (Karich) and Clint P. Richardson. She graduated from Arvada High School and attended University of Colorado, and worked four years in Washington, D.C. She traveled to Europe, before returning to New Mexico.. In the 1980's Marian moved to Midland, Texas, working in oil field data sales, real estate, and then as a registered nurse for Hospice of Midland until her retirement in 2012. Marian's lifelong passion for her Arabian horses culminated in a Top Ten finish, this past August, for her young gelding "Reverend Hot Shot" at the Canadian Arabian Horse Championships. In addition to her sister Alice; and cousins, Judy Zarlingo, Ellen Hornstine, Richard Brockett, Clint, Pat and John Richardson, Marian is survived by her friend, Kathy (Jett) Williams; and Marian's godchildren, John Williams and Quincy (Williams) Jaeger. Also, good friends, April and Hunter Henderson; and their daughters, Tiffany and Hayley; Tracy and Jerry Culberson; Nancy Tubb, Veronica Castillo, and Leticia Bastillo, Tammy Roberts and many, many more who loved her.
