Mrs. Isom was an absolute wonderful teacher! She knew so much more about you than what you did. While I was her student, and Chairman of Ready, Set, Go, I told her that I did not want a special ed class because I did not think that I could handle it. I was too scared to do it. Next thing I knew, I was "accidently" placed into a classroom that was a special needs classroom. One of my best placements ever!!! She made us see what we thought we couldn't as well as face our fears, or so what we thought were fears. She had the ability to teach you so much with so little to say. I would go to her with a question, she would have me talk it out and before I knew it, I answered my own question everytime. She was one of my absolute favorite teachers and I am so very sad to hear of this. Prayers to the family, you truly lost a wonderful woman but gained an extraordinary angel!

I am so sad to learn that Pam is gone. I so enjoyed the years that we taught "together" - when she was at Lee and I was at MHS. And we knew we had the best co-op program in Texas! She was a delightful friend and fellow educator. My sincere sympathy goes out to Bill and her kids and grandkids.

Very sorry to hear about Pam. We have many fond memories of your family living so close to each other in Midland. Our thoughts and prayers are with both of your families.

Pam was such an amazing woman! She taught me so much in the two years she was my teacher at Lee. She always thought I had potential, and helped set me up with several jobs over the years. She has definitely left this world a better place than it was when she found it! She is loved, and will be missed.
