Raul C. Pena Jr., 82, loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend, entered heaven to meet his Savior on February 13, 2024.
Raul was born to Raul and Maria Pena in Alice, Texas on January 2, 1942.
Raul grew up in Alice, Texas but later moved to Midland in his early Childhood. There he lived with his wife Eva Pena while raising their children and called it home.
Raul was a hard worker, He worked for the City of Midland as a Sanitation Superintendent for 33 years. His hobbies during his work years were horse racing and when he retired, he turned to playing golf with his family and friends. He loved traveling to Ruidoso, NM with the Grandkids and family anytime he had a chance IT MIGHT BE GOODBYE, BUT YOUR STORY LIVES ON. YOUR LOVE IS WRITTEN ON OUR HEARTS FOREVER!
He is preceded in death by his parents, Raul and Maria Pena, Wife Eva Pena, sons Rodney Pena and Ruben Pena, Sister Marta Tafoya, Brother Tacho Pena.
He is survived by his Brothers Severano (Chano) Pena (Nancy) and Fernando Pena (Mary) of Midland and Ramiro Pena (Maria Elena) of Alice, Texas, Sister Tina Suarez (Fernando) of Midland.
Raul is survived by his sons Victor Pena, Raul Pena III (JoAnn) and Robin Pena (Marisela), Daughter Velma Ybarra (Jesse) all of Midland along with 9 grandchildren and 12 Great Grandchildren.
A viewing will be held at Lewallen-Garcia- Pipkin Funeral Home in Midland, Texas February 19, 2024, at 10 AM – 9 PM and February 20, 2024, at10 AM – 2 PM Funeral will be at 2 pm with a service at Lewallen-Garcia-Pipkin chapel. Burial will follow immediately at Resthaven Memorial Park.
Pall Bearers will be Robin Pena, Ruben Pena, Justin Saucedo, Jordan Pena, Jeremy Morgan, Mario Aguirre Jr., Joe Rodriguez, Roy Rodriguez.
