Richard Sharp Obituary

Richard Eugene Sharp
02/04/1961 - 01/21/2025
Richard Eugene Sharp, 63, went home to meet his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Tuesday, January 21, 2025, at his home in Midland, TX while in the care of Hospice of Midland.
Richard was born on February 4, 1961, in Hanford, California to Robert Raymond Sharp and Wilma Jean Griffin.
Richard was a loving husband and father who dedicated his life to his family. He met Elizabeth Gibbs in Midland, Texas, and they married on March 8, 1980. Together, they built their family.
Richard drove trucks and worked in the concrete business for most of his life. He took care of those around him no matter where he worked.
Richard loved music, especially 60s & 70s rock & roll. He enjoyed drinking Natural Light beer and talking about bands. Everyone at Richard's home played "Who sings this song" if they wanted to or not. Richard adored spending time with his family.
Richard is preceded in death by his father Robert Raymond Sharp, his mother Wilma Jean Griffin Sharp, his brothers Bobby Ray, Vernon, and Cecil Sharp, and his sister Rhonda Kinsey.
Richard is survived by his wife Elizabeth Gibbs Sharp and his children: Robert Sharp and his wife Tiffany Sharp, Jennifer Sharp, Ashley Sharp and her husband Jason Chesnut, and Evan Sharp and his wife Shaunessy Sharp: grandchildren Brandon, Desaree, Ethan, Kevin Duhaime, Cheyanne Glenn, Brance, Breannah, Thomas, Wyatt, Cody, Hunter, and Addison Sharp: great-granddaughter Elora Duhaime: sisters Freida Solley, Marie Baze, and Elaine Haussecker and numerous nieces and nephews.
There will be no Interment or funeral services.
To honor Richard the Sharp family will plan an End-of-Life Celebration sometime late spring or early summer 2025.
