Sheila Masdon Obituary

Sheila Ruth Masdon, 73, went to her Heavenly Home on Sunday, November 19, 2023. She was born October 19, 1950, in Dallas, Texas to James William and Edna Ruth Brackeen Mayo.
Sheila was married to the love of her life, and was a loving and devoted wife to Steve, for 54 years. She devoted her time to her family, especially her daughter, Christina. She spent many years going to dance recitals and cheerleading events. She never thought twice about spending money on anything for her daughter. She took pride in providing for her and being the best mom, she could be. She also loved cooking, baking, decorating for the holidays, especially Christmas.
Sheila was preceded in death by her parents, James and Edna Mayo and brother, Gary Kidd and leaves behind to cherish her memory, husband Steve Masdon; daughter, Christina Masdon; granddaughter, London Renee; sister-in-law, Judy Brown and husband Craig; brother-in-law, Earl Masdon; lifelong friend Sheree' Denny and other extended family and friends.
A Graveside Service will be held at 1pm, Saturday, November 25, 2023, at Acton Cemetery in Granbury, Texas.

I am saddened to learn of Sheila's passing. I worked with her for many years at Pioneer Natural Resources and Clayton Williams Energy. She was always so sweet, and everyone loved her. Prayers for her family and friends. She will be missed.

Sheila and I were in school together for most of our lives, and we shared a birthday! I always thought her to be one of the kindest, gentlest people I ever knew. My heart goes out to her family.
