I had the pleasure and honor of working with Ms. Moreland during her years as math department chair at Midland Freshman from 1980-1985. I can truly say that she was at the top of my list of superior teachers that I had worked with in my 36 year career with the District. She was smart as could be and she truly cared about kids learning math. She had the patience of Job and the wisdom of Solomon and a sense of humor to boot and have to admit, she kept me in line as well. You have earned your wings Ms. Moreland. You are in the big classroom in the sky. Rest in peace!
