My deepest sympathy for your loss. When I think of my Dad (Larry Morris) I almost always think of Beryl as well. They were the best of friends. It breaks my heart that they are not here with us but I am ever so grateful that they are together.

To Beryl's family,
An old friend of mine just let me know of Beryl's death. I am so sorry. I have very, very fond memories of him as a teacher and later colleague and friend when I was in Murfreesboro in 1970. We remained friends and he performed my marriage to my late husband in 1981. His "joy for life" was infectious and they certainly "broke the mold" when he was created. He has touched many lives and I feel honored to have called him my friend though we had lost contact in the last several years. I know you and many others will greatly miss him. As I can tell you, the memories will provide great comfort. Blessings and Peace

Beryl was remarkably encouraging to students who were struggling to "find themselves". Beryl was always looking to be helpful to "the least of these", as Jesus said in Matthew 25:40.
