Arthur Flippin

Mr. Arthur "Kenneth" Flippin, 87, passed away Friday, July 18, 2025, at Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson, NC. He was born on June 19, 1938, in Surry County to the late Robert William Flippin and Hallie Rose Cook Flippin. Kenneth retired from RJ Reynolds after 30 years of service. He enjoyed golfing, baseball, gardening, and NASCAR. Kenneth was known as an honest family man. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Camille Flippin; sister, Joanne Flippin Smith; and brother, Robert Flippin. Kenneth is survived by his three children, Kevin Flippin (Jennifer), Amelia Marion (Tracy), and Cheryl Britton (Charles); eight grandchildren, Caleb William Flippin, Jonah Gordon Flippin, Aftan Brown, Meagan Fulton, Jessica Ledwell, Eric Johnson, Melissa Johnson, and Madison Britton; five great-grandchildren, Shelby Brown, Lochlan Ledwell, Asher Ledwell, Tate Johnson, and Jase Johnson. A private family celebration of life service will be held at a later date. Online condolences may be made at www.hayworthmiller.com.
