Erette Bobbitt Obituary
MOUNT AIRY — Mr. Erette Jordan Bobbitt, 27, of Mount Airy passed away Thursday, September 10, 2015 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Galax, VA on August 14, 1988 to Jimmy and Patti Jordan Bobbitt. Mr. Bobbitt was the Curriculum Facilitator at Tharrington Primary School, and was a member of South Stokes Church of Christ. Mr. Bobbitt had an infectious smile, one that touched the lives of so many. He lived his life for others, especially his students, colleagues, friends, and loving family. Erette will be dearly missed by all who loved him, but his spirit will live on forever because of the many footprints he left on this earth. In addition to his parents Mr. Bobbitt is survived by his devoted wife, Brooke Winchester Bobbitt of the home; two precious sons, Thomas "TJ" Bobbitt and Boone Bobbitt both of the home; two brothers, Dillon Bobbitt and Taylor Bobbitt both of Mt. Airy; his grandparents, Cassie and James Jordan of Spencer, VA. Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 12, 2015 at 4:00 PM at Moody funeral Home Chapel with Minister Jerry Pence, Minister Dale Babinsky, and Minister Will Winchester officiating. There will be a private burial in the Hawks Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday from 2:30 PM until time for the service at Moody Funeral Home in Mt. Airy. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Pediatric Cancer Foundation, P.O. Box 785, Mamaroneck, NY 10543. Online condolences may be made at www.moodyfuneralservices.com.
