Timothy "Timmy" Scott Jenkins, age 58, of Mount Airy, passed away on Saturday, Sept. 17, 2022, at the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home. Mr. Jenkins was born on Jan. 25, 1964, in Forsyth County to the late Johnny Edgar Jenkins Sr. and Cora Louise Felts Jenkins. Timothy was a loving son, brother, uncle, and friend. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Left to cherish his memories are his two sisters and brothers-in-law, Sandy Felts Edwards and Bill, Anita Jenkins Paige and Tony; one brother, Billy Gray Jenkins; two nephews, Cody Herrin, and Tyler Herrin. In addition to his parents, Mr. Jenkins was preceded in death by a brother, Johnny Edgar "Eddie" Jenkins Jr. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, Sept. 24, at 2 p.m. at The Peoples Church Cemetery with Rev. Dale Hawks officiating. The family will receive friends on Saturday, Sept. 24, from 12:30 until 1:30 p.m. at Moody Funeral Home in Mount Airy. Timothy's favorite Bible scripture was Hebrews 13:5 "I will never leave you nor forsake you." In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Society North Carolina, PO Box 11796, Charlotte, NC 28220. Moody Funeral Services in Mount Airy is serving the family.
