Charles Vincent Obituary

Charles "Nick" Vincent, 70

July 24, 1951 - February 16, 2022

Charles "Nick" Vincent a proud combat veteran of the Marines passed away peacefully February 16, 2022 with his beloved daughter Jessica by his side in Casper, Wyoming. Nick was born to James Andrew Vincent and Marjorie Cerino Vincent on July 24, 1951 in Anaconda, Montana. Nick attended school in Anaconda beginning with grade school through high school at Anaconda Senior High. Nick was an athlete competing in skiing, swimming, and was a member of the football team. His high school education was cut short with him joining the Marine Corps and heading off to defend his country in Vietnam, like many young men did at the time. Upon returning from Vietnam Nick traveled the country making his way from Montana to Florida and all the way to Alaska where he spent time working on Adak Island. He returned to Anaconda where he met the love of his life, Barbara Tracy-Vincent and her young daughter, Jessica. The couple married in September 1986. Nick and his little family moved to Anchorage, Alaska where he was a haul road truck driver for 7 years. While living in Alaska, Nick adopted Jessica making her his forever daughter. Nick moved his family back to Anaconda where he worked as a cement truck driver with S&N until he retired to enjoy life with his wife and grandkids. Nick was the leader of the pack on many snowmobile adventures with his family and friends. Nick was a proud papa of his three grandchildren Carter, Bridger, and Ashley. Papa Nick and Carter were the best of buddies, many summers were spent camping and riding atvs. Nick moved to Casper, Wyoming in 2018 after his beloved wife passed away, to be closer to his grandchildren. Papa Nick enjoyed joining his family on little trips to Deadwood, Denver, and Moab. Papa Nick was delighted to embrace his new granddaughter when she made her arrival July 2021. Papa Nick was quick to show off pictures of Bridger and Ashley to the nurses that took care of him the past several months. Nick was proceeded in death by his soulmate Barbara Tracy-Vincent, father James Vincent, mother Marjorie Cerino, step-mother Lee Vincent, father-in-law Gordon Tracy, brother-in-law Ronald Tracy, and nephew Eric Johnson. Nick is survived by his daughter and son-in-law Jessica and Jake Hanson and grandchildren Carter, Bridger, and Ashley Hanson of Casper, WY. His mother-in-law Loretta Tracy of Anaconda, MT and brother-in-law Mike (Joan) Tracy of Livermore, CA . His sister Sandra (Pudge) Johnson of Tucson, AZ, brothers Jim and Bill Vincent of Anaconda, MT, step-sisters Gail Pliley and Pat Blevins of Anaconda, MT, several nephews, nieces, and cousins. Cremation has taken place through Bustard and Jacoby Funeral Home in Casper, WY. The family is planning to hold a memorial service during the summer of 2022 in Anaconda, MT.

The Hagan family is ever so sad to hear of the passing of Nick Vincent. So many fond memories of Nick and all the Vincent family members as we grew up in Anaconda and skied together at Wraith Hill. One of my fondest memories of Nick was watching him fly through the air winning another ski jumping competition. His parents made and served food to everyone who came in to warm up in the ski house. God Bless you Nick. Thank you for the memories and for your service to your country. --your ski buddy, little Dave
