Dona Jean Dennehy, 76, died Sunday, March 9, 2006, at her home in Butte.

Later she became a licensed practical nurse and worked at Silver Bow General Hospital and St. James Hospital, from which she retired.
Following her retirement, Jean and Larry could always be found spending time with family and friends at their cabin in Wise River on the Big Hole River. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, cooking and baking, and was a kind, caring, loving wife, mother and grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her parents; infant daughter, Carolynn; daughter, Kimberly; and son, Robert "Bubba" Dennehy.
Surviving relatives include her husband, Larry of Butte; sons and daughters-in-law, Mick and Sheila Dennehy of Canyon Ferry, Pat and Penny Dennehy of Seattle, Rich Dennehy, Kevin Dennehy, Kelly and Theresa Dennehy and by her daughter, Lynn Dennehy, all of Butte. She is also survived by her daughter-in-law, Sue Dennehy, Butte; aunt, Claudia Blow, Butte; grandchildren, Jake, Mark, Matt, Sean, Kyle Casey, Corey, Quinn, Kim, Ryan; and great-granddaughter, Ryleigh.
Relatives and friends may call from 9 to 10 a.m. Wednesday in St. Patrick's Church for visitations. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. with interment of ashes to follow in Holy Cross Cemetery.
