I know a lot of people knew Jim better than I, but I always knew his decisions and approach to the job of Deputy and later as Sheriff was with compassion, understanding and respect for all. An absolute honest and solid man. After 30 years in law enforcement myself we´re aware how split second decisions are scrutinized for years but Jim weathered all that, was proud of the uniform and was always true to himself.
Rest in peace Jim, you certainly earned it.

I will always appreciate Jim for helping me with situations with my children. He was one of the very few that would listen and look into both sides and see the truth. He was definitely a good man, and father a lot of us did look up to Jill. He will definitely be missed.
