My condolences to the whole Staples family. Our Grandmothers on the Hanley side were sisters, mine was Loretta. I remember visiting with the Staples many years ago. I remember your dad´s Xmas cards with the green stamps. I am so sorry for your loss.

Sympathies in your loss go out to all Mark's family and wide circle of friends.
He touched a lot of lives with his talent, comedic and objectively disciplined ways evenenhanced by his kindness and philanthropy to lots of causes.
One of his early musical comedy concerts was in the Summer of 1984 performing hits such as "Whip me, Beat me , Make Me Write Bad Checks! lol! & "Shake on it!" at the Old Colonial Ballroom in
Helena as a fundraiser in
support of Helena's Attention Home for Youth in crisis.
That Youth Home later evolved to a new location at 299 Miller St. And was aply named The Margaret Stuart Youth Home after a renowned 3 career woman originally from Butte who was Social Worker extraordinaire, Counselor, and Proffessor caring among others the Youth in crisis in need of housing. That 8 bed facility still operates today thanks to generous community support and the spearheading of Mark Staples, Margaret Stuart (RIP 2005) to support Youth in need.
They are remembered by many.
Rest in Peace .

Oh Mark,
The news hit us hard this morning, and it spurred so many memories. Mark was the frequent talent at Montana Broadcaster conventions where killed it every single time. He was a hilarious and wonderful guy that we saw often in Helena over the years. This was before his family life began in Missoula and I'm happy he found that richness. We send our condolences to his family. May he continue to e ntertain everyone in Heaven.

Sorry to hear of Mark's passing! Mark and his family were part of my life since I was a young boy. My mother worked for Mark's father (Dr. Staples) for more years than I can count. Mark's father saved my life when I was 5 years old and I am forever indebted to him! I'm very fortunate to have known Mark and his family. I'm sure Mark is part of God's Choir now!

I met Mark years ago through his brother Tom. There was a small gathering at my house in Missoula. He was very charming, charismatic.
