Michael G. Tregear
November 30, 1957 - February 11, 2023
Michael G. Tregear passed away at home surrounded by his family early in the morning on February 11, 2023. We are truly thankful that we were able to bring Mike home to spend his final hours enveloped in love and care as his wife and children sat with him holding his hands, recalling memories, sharing stories, and listening to favorite songs with him.
Born in Butte, Montana on November 30, 1957, to Bernice and Bill Tregear, Mike moved to Washington in 1990. There he met his wife, Jerri. They were married in 1993, and together had four children.
Throughout his life, Mike was a hard worker, holding many jobs, but most of his life was spent as a mechanic. A devoted friend and father, he often used his skills to help others and had a knack for fixing things himself and getting the job done.
He loved to cook for his family, and many a holiday was spent hearing his kind but insistent demands to "get out of his kitchen".
He had a wonderful sense of humor and will be remembered by those closest to him for his teasing and jokes, always able to draw a smile or laugh from those around him.
Mike is preceded in death by his parents, sisters: Hazel and Ellen and a daughter, Marissa Geolyn.
He is survived by his wife, Jerri, their three children: Wyland, Celeste, and Vivienne; his brothers and their wives: Wayne and Linda Tregear, Bill and Teri Tregear; his sister-in-law and brother-in-law: Jeanne and Shawn Murray; his mother and father in-law: Pat and Jim Smith, and several nieces and nephews.
He will be forever loved and dearly missed.
A memorial and celebration of his life will be held in his honor on March 5, 2023, at 2PM at Brightwater Center in Woodinville, Washington.
