Patrick Largey Keith
March 14, 1964 - September 2, 2022
COLORADO SPRINGS, CO - Patrick Largey Keith of Colorado Springs, CO, gained his angel wings on September 2, 2022, after a valiant battle with Parkinson's and Multiple Myeloma. He was born on March 14, 1964, to the late Sandy and Darlene Keith.
Patrick graduated from Butte High School in 1984 and went on to complete the construction painting program at the Anaconda Job Corps. He worked for the family business "The Red Rooster Supper Club" for many years. After moving to Colorado in 2000 he left the restaurant industry and worked in warehouse/delivery driving.
In 1992 Patrick married the love of his life, Robbi Whetstone. This past July they celebrated their 30th wedding anniversary. In 2007 Patrick and Robbi were blessed with the birth of their son Ryan. Patrick's son was the highlight of his life, and he loved him more than anything on earth. In addition to his wife and son, Patrick is survived by his sister, Renee (Travis) Frickle; mother-in-law, Cathy Whetstone; sister-in-law, Bonnie (Mike) Brown; niece, Madison Brown; nephews: Darren Brown, Joshua Brown, Christopher (Kellee) Kichnet and Kevin Kichnet. He is also survived by countless loving friends, aunts, uncles, and cousins to whom he was affectionately known as "LaPoint". Patrick was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents and father-in-law, Rusty Whetstone.
Everyone who knew Patrick experienced his huge heart and giving nature. He enjoyed the simple things in life…. Music, movies, sports (he was a huge Redskins fan), days at the lake and spending time with his loved ones. He particularly enjoyed going to concerts and has a huge collection of T-Shirts to document his attendance. He loved going to the movies with his niece and nephews and even though he often slept through a good portion of the movie at the end he would exclaim that it was the "Best to Date!"
Cremation has taken place and a celebration of his life was held on September 7, 2022. In lieu of flowers a Go Fund Me has been established for his final expenses and his son's future education.
You now have front row seats to all the concerts and there is huge void in our lives until we meet again. We Love You Patrick
