BUTTE - Tony Krankowski passed away May 28, at the age of 83. He was born December 18, 1938 to Emma and Anthony Krankowski in Great Falls, Montana. Tony served in the Navy and the Army from 1956-1963 working as an equipment operator. Years later he moved to Butte where he met his future wife Linda. Together they had seven children, six daughters and a son.
Tony was very proud of the amazing work he did as a siding contractor for Sheas Home Improvement. He installed metal and Vinyl siding in Butte and surrounding areas for over 50 years. He was an avid bowler, fisherman, hunter, and car enthusiast. Tony and Linda also loved camping, they would be out in Wise River almost every weekend in the summers rain or shine.
Preceding him in death are his daughter, Kelly; wife, Linda; mother and father: Emma and Anthony; and his loyal companion, Pete the cat.
He is survived by his sister, Joyce (Mike); children: Debbie (Pete), Toni (Doug), Mollie (Keith), Ronnie (James), Dannie (Frank), Mike (Valerie); 13 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren, and his cat, Blackbird.
There will be a celebration of life Sunday, June 12, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at Star Lanes Sport Center.
