Monte Edward Trumbull
March 30, 1958-February 24, 2023
BUENA VISTA-Monte Edward Trumbull, 64, of Buena Vista, CO, passed away unexpectedly on Friday February 24th.
Monte was born on March 30, 1958, to Harold II (Trum) & Sylvia Trumbull in Oskaloosa, Iowa. Monte married his high school sweetheart Tammy (Miller) Trumbull in March of 1977. Monte developed a love of flyfishing as a child that he carried through adulthood. He also loved music, Budlight, jeeps, cooking amazing meals for his family and a passion for photography.
Monte and Tammy have two amazing children Justin (Ashley) Trumbull, Jamie (Chris) Salturelli as well as four grandchildren, Caden (16), Cohen (14), Evelyn (8) and Logan (6).
Monte spent his career in Hy-Vee and retired in 2006 where he and Tammy began their retirement years in Buena Vista, CO enjoying being grandparents, traveling, photography and meeting new friends.
Monte will be dearly missed by his wife, children, grandchildren, mother Sylvia Trumbull, brother Butch (Cindy) Trumbull as well as many other family members. A Celebration of Life will take place in Muscatine, Iowa on March 18, 2023.

Great memories with Monte, assisted me many times in my career with Hy-Vee over the years. Loved the times we spent on the golf course together. I'll never forget the Bud man outfit! May your family find love & peace in all that you were.
