Bill was born April 29, 1966 in Waukegon, Illinois to Donna Mesmer and William E. Jensen II. He grew up in Davenport and attended Davenport West High School. He completed an apprenticeship program with Millwright Local Union 2158 before he began his career. He worked there for almost 35 years. Bill was a hard worker and had a great work ethic but also enjoyed the many friendships he formed along the way.

Bill was larger than life and truly lived life to the fullest. His personality was one of a kind and went well with his unforgettable smile. His sense of humor was appreciated by those who knew Bill and made him such a joy to be around. He will always be remembered for lending a helping hand to anyone in need.

He was most proud of his children and being a father to his son Billy and two daughters Olivia and Tyller. He cherished the many friends he leaves behind.

He is survived by his mother, Donna A. Mesmer and father, William E. Jensen, II; his son William "Billy" E. Jensen IV, his daughters, Olivia Jensen and Tyller Stoetzel; siblings, Deborah Galyen, Michael Jensen, Daniel Mesmer and Melissa A. Mesmer, also many nieces, nephews and extended family members who he was very close to.

He was preceded in death by his beloved stepfather, mentor, and fellow millwright Stuart Mesmer.

First , my sympathy to all of Bill´s family and friends. I remember back in the day hanging out with Bill and all the guys, wow some crazy good times we had! Before I retired from John Deere in July of 2019 I got a chance to see and talk to Bill as he and his millwright gang were doing some work in my welding department at Harvester works. We talked about life and how it had changed for all of us over the years! I´m glad we had that chance to talk. Rest In Peace Bill, but know the World is a little more boring without you!!
