Keith Peterson Obituary

Keith Brian Peterson, age 69, passed on to heaven on June 1, 2025 at his residence in Bellingham, WA. Born on February 7, 1956, in Oakland, California to Raymond and Helen Peterson, Keith spent a good part of his early life in The Golden State. He was a simple and honest man who people were able to turn to when they wanted the truth. To say he was an amazing brother would be an understatement. Keith was always there to help, guide, and care for his brothers when they needed him most. He loved sports, especially the Chargers (football) and the Padres (baseball). Keith could often be found passing the time fishing nearby as well. Those who knew him best will always remember him by his humor. With his sarcastic wit and distinct, contagious laugh, Keith had a gift and desire to make everyone around him chuckle. He is survived by his daughter Aubree and Jeff Hofer; his grandchildren Ryan, Madison, and Emily Hofer; his siblings David and Karen Peterson, and Wayne Peterson; as well as several nieces and nephews. Keith is preceded in death by his parents Raymond and Helen Peterson, as well as his brother Raymond Peterson. A graveside service will be held on Monday June 9, 2025 at 11:30am at Monumenta Cemetery in Lynden. He will be missed by everyone who had the pleasure of meeting him. He is in a wonderful place, with no more pain and struggles, with his mom, dad, and brother Raymond. Looking forward to seeing him again!
