Ruth Scott Obituary

Ruth Scott was born on September 24, 1964, in Seattle, Washington, and passed away in her hometown of Seattle on July 7, 2025, at the age of 60. She was a homemaker and an over-the-phone counselor. She enjoyed family time, beadwork, coloring books, and makeup. She also loved chatting on the phone with friends and family while watching her favorite shows like Judge Judy, The Price Is Right, Maury Povich, Jerry Springer, Steve Wilkos, and Judge Mathis. Ruth was happy, funny and goofy with a super loud and infectious laugh. Her family remembers her as warm, brave, resilient, beautiful, big-hearted and loveable. She was compassionate to those in need, always willing to give to others whenever she could. She was most proud of her family. Her greatest loves were her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Being a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother meant everything to her. Ruth will always be remembered for her loving, caring, kind, and gentle nature and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Ruth is proceeded in death by her father John Scott; mother Priscilla (Wanda) Brown; brother John Monar; nephew Excalibur Scott, and sister Priscilla Scott. She is survived by her sons TJ Chavez (Theresa), Alex Rowan, and Anthony Ramirez; daughters Nena Larson (Pete) and Wanda Rowan; mother-in-law Alice Scott, brothers John Wesley and Wendale Downs and sister Tracy Bunell; nephews Armondo Scott, Jeno Scott, Bradley Bunell, Von Scott; great-nephew Raphael Scott; twelve grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and 18 nieces and nephews.
