ALBERT R. GAZZALE
AGE: 82 SAYREVILLE
Albert R. Gazzale, age 82, of Sayreville, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 25, 2009, at Roosevelt Care Center, Edison after a prolonged illness. Born in Hoboken, he had resided in Sayreville for 38 years. Before his retirement in 1989 he was employed as a planner for E.R. Squibb & Sons in North Brunswick for 44 years and was a member of the¼Century Club. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War, a communicant of Our Lady of Victories R.C. Church in Sayreville and a former member of Our Lady of Lorretto Knights of Columbus and their 4th Degree Assembly in Hempstead, Long Island.
He is predeceased by his wife Florence Bracken Gazzale in 1996. Surviving are his children and their spouses; Robert & Barbara Gazzale of Kendall Park, James & Madeline Gazzale of Metuchen, Ann & David Smoke of Monmouth Junction, Patricia & Charles Pikus of East Windsor and Elizabeth & Edward Kotarski of Monmouth Junction, his sister Emily Bozzo of Bronx, N.Y. and 13 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Monday 9am from the Maliszewski Memorial Home, 121 Main Street, Sayreville followed by a 9:30am mass at Our Lady of Victories R. C. Church in Sayreville with burial to follow at New Calvary Cemetery, Parlin. Calling hours at the funeral home will be Sunday from 5pm to 8pm.
