AGE: 77 • Fords

Alice Theresa Joyce, 77, of Fords, passed away November 12, 2014, at JFK Haven Hospice in Edison. Born in 1937 to John and Julia Carmondy, she was a life-long resident of Fords. Alice was a graduate of Woodbridge Vocational School. She was an owner/operator of Carmondy Catering partnering with her mother. She also worked as a Floor Manager and Sample Maker in the garment industry in Perth Amboy. Alice was a communicant of Our Lady of Peace RC Church, Fords.

She was predeceased by her sister, Catherine Knevy, and her brothers, Connie Carmondy and John Carmondy. Alice is survived by her beloved husband of 42 years, Patrick J. Joyce; her son, Patrick J. Joyce, Jr. of Fords; her sister, Frances Dudash of Burlington; a nephew; several nieces; and great- nephews and nieces.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 15, 2014, at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Avenue, Fords, NJ at 9:30 am followed by a 10:00 am Funeral Liturgy at Our Lady of Peace Church, Fords. Visitation will be held on Friday, November 14, from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Cremation will be private. For directions or to send a message of condolence, visit our website at www.flynnfuneral.com
