REV. DR. ANNABELLE ROBINSON FREELAND

On Wednesday, Dec. 9, 2009, Rev., Dr. Annabelle Robinson Freeland left this earth to be forever in the presence of the the Lord. Her final days were spent surrounded by her husband, daughter, son-in-law and friends that Annabelle had touched in so many ways throughout her memorable life.
She was preceded in death by two of her three children, Joseph Wilson, and Shonda Wilson and five of her siblings.
A service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 17, 2009 at Millbrook Baptist Church, 176 East Pine Log Rd., Aiken, S.C.
Born on Oct. 1, 1931 in Glenwood, GA, she was the daughter of the late Lafeyette and Vera Robinson.
Rev., Dr. Annabelle Robinson Freeland had been a resident of New Jersey for over 45 years where she taught in the Long Branch School system for 25 years and preached in the AME church for over twenty five years. She recently moved to Aiken, S.C. where she was assistant pastor at Cumberland AME under Rev. Moses Miller and recently she had become a member of Millbrook Baptist Church where she was the prayer coordinator under the pastor Eddie Leopard.
Surviving to cherish her memories are her husband, Lloyd J. Freeland, her daughter, Toni Spaulding, son-in-law Vernon Spaulding, and sister Lillie Williams of California. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and shall be greatly missed by her family and friends and all whose lives she touched.
Friends may call at the residence, 49 Longwood Drive, Aiken, S.C. or at Jackson-Brooks Funeral Home beginning 3:00 P.M. Wednesday. The remains will lie in state at the church Thursday from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
