AGE: 58 • Milltown
Barbara E. (Mustakas) Quish, 58, died Thursday, May 5, 2016 at home. Born in New Brunswick, she was a lifelong Milltown resident. She was the owner of Kreative Designs by Barbara, Milltown. Previously she was employed by J.B. Hunt Trucking Company, East Brunswick and Silver Line Building Products, North Brunswick. She was predeceased by her father, Thomas J. Mustakas and her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Don and Marjorie Quish. Surviving are her husband, Donald Quish: her mother, Helen E. (Macaronis) Mustakas of Milltown; 2 brothers, John Mustakas and his wife, Mary of Winter Springs, FL, and Steven T. Mustakas and Cristina LaPenta of Pennsville; 1 brother-in-law, Kevin Quish; many nieces and nephews; and her beloved dog, Casey. Relatives and friends may call 4 p.m. - 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Quackenboss Funeral Home, 156 Livingston Avenue, New Brunswick.

Dear Family, I was so very sad to hear of Barbara's passing. Over the last few years we become good friends. She would call often. Her last call to me, on April 16th, we talked about many things. One thing she asked me is if I believed that we receive signs from our loved ones that have passed on. Having just lost my Dad, I told her that I did believe. I told her I would see a butterfly when I was thinking of him. I know she believed, too. Dear Barbara, I will look for that butterfly knowing you are looking down on your loved ones and sweet Casey. My sincere condolences to you all.

I'm so sorry for your loss. Barbara was always friendly and would reach out with phone calls just to say hello. My last conversation with Barb was about a month ago when she called me to tell me how proud of me she was. I will miss my friend very much.
