I am deeply saddened to learn about Brett's passing. I knew Brett from high school. He was always known for his smile and great personality. As a wife and mother I cannot imagine what Christine and her children are going through. May God give you strength during this very difficult time. My deepest and sincere condolences to the entire Pardun family.

I was shocked and incredibly sad when I heard of Brett's passing. I still remember him showing up as a freshman and I was a junior. He had a great personality and a big heart which made use quickly become friends. Although I had not had the opportunity to speak with him before his death, I thought of him often and laughed at the fun we shared. My deepest condolences to the Pardun Family.

Dear Chrissy and family,

I just found out the terrible news and missed my chance to say good bye to Brett. I am so deeply sorry and cannot even begin to fathom your pain and loss. God bless you and your children in this sad time.

Brett was our "summertime" brother across the street in Lavallette and the laughs we had growing up over the years were numerous. He was such a strong part of my childhood memories, and always smiling, even as a kid. We had so many laughs!

I know without a doubt he loved you and his children so much, and always, always was so proud of all of you. When we had talked from time to time, he always mentioned his family. You were all his finest accomplishments!

His heart was as pure as his laughter and smile, and he always found a way to be positive even when things were not.

I will miss him dearly, and will carry many, many fond memories of him. I hope you find peace and comfort in those memories and know that he will ALWAYS be protecting his family from Heaven.

I'll miss you Brett,
Much love and peace to you,
Mary

My dear friend Brett. You were my first best friend, and my little brother. I remember we met flying kites with our fathers. Even though you lived across the street.. we spent every weekend having sleep overs. I will always remember the fun we had...lighting the kitchen curtains on fire, terrorizing Frank LaMurra with the hose, our daily trips to Peek-A-Boo... I am so glad I got to meet your wife and children. RIP my dear friend. I am sure your father and the rest of the Newark Ave crew are with you. We will always know that the beach house belonged to you and your brothers and sisters. That's where the memories were made....that was our childhood. You will be missed by all. XO Little Brother

We are so grieved by Bretts sudden passing. He was a wonderful friend with a big, kind heart. It saddens us that we will never see that cherub face and sweet smile but have faith that God has better plans for him. Our prayers and condolences are with Bretts family at this difficult time. He will be greatly missed.

Brett how is it possible that the cute blonde little boy who was always smiling and laughing could be gone? During some of the darkest days of my life you made me smile with that cute laughter. My heart goes out to your wife, your children, your brothers and great mom Carolyn! You will be missed and in our hearts for the years and years and years ahead.
