I only knew Carl from Shoprite where we often discussed the shortcomings of the Yankees. It was clear to both of us that either one of us would have been a great Yankee manager. I enjoyed Carl, admired him and will miss him. God bless him and his family.

To my Father Carl - Words cannot express the feeling of loss I have at this moment. You were always there for me, Bob, and Mom.. I know you loved Bob and I as your own, and I love and respect you for guiding me when I was lost. Although I know I wasn't the best son at times, I hope I have made you proud of the man that I have become. I will always remember your kind demeanor and will never ever forget the way you loved and cared for my Mother. Please know she will be well cared for in your absence, but I know you will always be watching over her from your spot next to Anna in heaven. I am glad your suffering has come to an end, and although you are not here physically, you will never be forgotten. Rest peacefully "BIG C"... Always loved..
