Charles Carver Obituary
South Amboy - Charles J. Carver, 71 of South Amboy, NJ, passed away on Thursday August 19, 2021 at the Venetian Care Center in South Amboy.
Charles was born in Wilks Borough, PA, he was a life long resident of South Amboy and Sayreville. He was employed by United States Post Office of Edison for 31 years and retired in 2012 .He was a parishioner of Sacred Heart Church in South Amboy. Charles was an Alumni of Sayreville High School Class of 1967, a member of the American Postal Workers Union. He was also a Yankees fan and enjoyed American History.
Charles is preceded in death by his parents, Christine (nee Dombrowski) and Charles Carver, Sr. and his sister, Christine Ferwerda.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years Susan (nee Kijowski) Carver, his daughter, Stephanie Carver and son, Martin Carver, and sister, Marie Cortez and her husband Rick .
We begin to leave on Tuesday at 9:15 am from the Gustav J. Novak Funeral Home 419 Barclay Street, Perth Amboy for a Funeral Mass at 10 am at Sacred Heart Church, South Amboy, Interment will be Private. Visiting is on Monday from 4 ~ 8 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations in the memory of Charles can be made to the American Heart Association, www.heart.org.
