Chester Borowinski Obituary
AGE: 79 • South River
Chester J. Borowinski, died Friday, September 26, 2014 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. He was 79. Born in South River, he was a lifelong borough resident. Prior to his retirement, he worked as a mason, and then a film department processor at EI DuPont in Parlin for 40 years. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War. He was a communicant of St. Mary of Ostrabrama RC Church, South River.
He was predeceased by his wife, Katherine E. Kosa Borowinski in 2009; his son, Roy Robert Borowinski in 2008, and a brother, Robert Borowinski in 1992. Surviving are a daughter, Kim and her husband Thomas Michlik of East Brunswick; a brother, Frank Borowinski of California; and four granddaughters, Kristie, Hannah, Grace, and Paige.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 8:00 AM in the Rezem Funeral Home, 457 Cranbury Road, East Brunswick, followed by a 9:00 AM Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary of Ostrabrama Church, South River. Interment will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, East Brunswick. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Monday 4-8 PM.
