Frank P. Anilo

Monmouth Beach - Frank P. Anilo, 77, passed away peacefully on Tuesday (December 12, 2017) at Monmouth Medical Center surrounded by his loving family. Born in Plainfield, he had lived in North Plainfield and was a longtime resident of South Plainfield before moving to Monmouth Beach just over two years ago.

Frank was a graduate of North Plainfield High School, and worked as an Offset Lithographer with Plymouth Printing in Cranford for over 40 years. He was a member of the Typographical and Electrical Unions.

Frank enjoyed being outside, especially fishing and boating. He was a member of the Long Branch Ice and Boat Club, and was an avid hunter earlier in life. He and his wife were longtime parishioners of Sacred Heart Church in South Plainfield. Frank and his wife also enjoyed their many trips to Atlantic City and Las Vegas with his sister and brother-in-law.

Frank was predeceased by his high school sweetheart and beloved wife, Virginia "Ginger" Anilo. He was also predeceased by his parents, Ralph and Sue Anilo.

He is survived by his daughters and their husbands, Michele and Thomas Kavanagh and Annette and Robert LaCanna; his son, and his wife, Frank and Rachael; brother, Ralph and his wife, Barbara, and sister, Camille and her husband, James Bowman; and his six grandchildren, Shawn, Brandon, Rebecca, Frank, Emily and Tyler.

The funeral will be from Memorial Funeral Home, 155 South Ave., Fanwood, on Saturday at 9AM followed by a funeral Mass at St. Joseph's R.C. Church in North Plainfield at 10AM. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday from 4-8PM in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donation may be made to The Monmouth Medical Foundation, 300 2nd Ave., Long Branch, NJ 07740.

I just found out about your dads passing in church this evening. I am so sorry we could not attend the wake. We were so sad to hear about it. We have many wonderful memories from DeSepio Avenue.
