Gordon Hampton Obituary
AGE: 61 • Colonia
Gordon Boyd Hampton died Saturday July 19, 2014 unexpectedly at home. He was born in Elizabeth and resided in Colonia his entire life. Gordon was a lifelong member of the New Dover United Methodist Church, Edison. He was a systems programmer for JP Morgan Chase in Jersey City for 41 years retiring in July of 2013.
Gordon was predeceased by his parents Gordon W and Georgie Belle Hampton and his brother Wesley Hampton. Surviving are his siblings Ruth Sullivan and her husband John of Titusville, NJ, Linda Boelhower and her husband Nick of Dayton, NJ, Barry Hampton and his wife Marilou of Piscataway 4 nieces Sara, Nicole, Melinda, and Brenda 2 nephews John 3rd and Michael and 3 great nephews.
Visitation to be held on Wednesday July 23nd, 2014 from 2:00PM to 6:00PM at the GOSSELIN FUNERAL HOME, 660 New Dover Road, Edison. Blessing Wednesday 5:30PM @ the Funeral Home. Cremation private.
Donations in lieu of flowers can be made in his loving memory to: The New Dover United Methodists Church 687 New Dover Road Edison, NJ 08820
