Guido C. Scatorchia

AGE: 82 • Lakewood

Guido C. Scatorchia, 82, of Four Seasons, Lakewood passed away Saturday, July 23, 2011 at Ocean Medical Center, Brick. Born in Manhattan, he resided in Bronx, NY before moving to Four Seasons Retirement Community, Lakewood 13 years ago. He was a member of the Four Seasons Italian American Club, Bowling, Bocci and Irish Club. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War.

He was predeceased by his brothers, Louis, Daniel and Angelo. Surviving are his wife, Amelia Cardello Scatorchia; son, Dr. Guido Scatorchia; brothers, Anthony, Albert and sister, Anna Rose Fulgione.

Visiting will be Tuesday, 2:00pm to 4:00pm and 7:00pm to 9:00pm at the Silverton Memorial Funeral Home, 2482 Church Road, Toms River. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday, 9:00AM at St. Dominic's RC Church, arrive at the funeral home 8:00am. Interment will follow at Ocean County Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the American Heart Association, 1 Union St, Suite 301, Robbinsville, NJ 08691 would be appreciated. www.silvertonmemorial.com

Dear Amelia, Guido and family,
We are so sorry to hear of your loss. We will always remember Guido Sr. as a loving and kind man. He always had something nice to say and his smile was so genuine. His passing is truly our loss.
