AGE: 89 FORMERLY OF NEW BRUNSWICK
Helen Sabo Gunther, formerly of New Brunswick, passed away Saturday, May 8, 2010, at Francis E. Parker Home in New Brunswick. She was 89. Born and raised in New Brunswick, she married Robert William Gunther in 1942 at Fort Benning, GA. They lived in Japan, Germany, France and all over the United States, before settling in Millbrook, NY in 1965. Mrs. Gunther had worked at J & J in New Brunswick before retiring in 1965. She was a member of the Eastern Star and a member of the Altar League at Grace Church in Millbrook, NY. She also was a volunteer nurse in Wasaic Hospital in upstate NY.
She was a great wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Surviving is her husband of 67 years, Robert W. Gunther; her children Gail H. Concannon, Robin Lucas, Robert W. Gunther, III and Mary G. Cullen of Milltown, NJ; her 9 grandchildren Hayes Slade, Megan Claudio, Lena Lucas, Jasmine Carman, John Lucas, Michaela Gunther, and Mary Beth, Robert and Courtney Cullen, and 7 great grandchildren Santi, Ana, Margot, and Stella Slade, and Michael, Genevieve and Juliana Carman.
Services are private. Contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association. Arrangements are by The Crabiel Home for Funerals, 170 N. Main St - at Riva Ave, Milltown. You may sign the obituary email condolence Guestbook at www.Crabiel.com.
