Ismael Colon Obituary
AGE: 65 • Perth Amboy
Ismael Colon, 65 of Perth Amboy, passed away on Sunday, November 24, 2013 at his residence with his family by his side. Ismael was born in Bayamon, Puerto Rico, and came to in Perth Amboy in 1956.
He was a Supervisor for Fedders, Inc., Edison for 14 years, Emerson Company for 13 years and was a Custodian for Middlesex County College for 13 years. He was a parishioner of the Most Holy Name of Jesus Parish at La Asuncion Church, Perth Amboy. He is preceded in death by his father Manuel Colon. He is survived by his devoted wife of 43 years to Casilda (nee Negron); beloved father of Ismael Jr., and his wife Veronica Munoz, Ricardo, Luis, Jorge and Reinaldo; loving son of Isabel (nee Colon); dear brother of Hilda, Lizzy, Glady and Nolito; adored grandfather of Jared & Jenesty and 12 step grandchildren and great grandchildren and other relatives and many friends. He will always be missed, but always shall be in our hearts. May he rest in peace.
We begin to leave on Wednesday, November 27, 2013 at 8:15 am from the Gustav J. Novak Funeral Home, 419 Barclay Street, Perth Amboy for a Funeral Mass at Most Holy Name of Jesus Parish at La Asuncion Church at 9:00 am. Burial will be at Alpine Cemetery. Visiting is on Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm.
