Dear Hackett Family,
I am so sorry to hear of Jim's passing. Through the years, my brother and I always looked forward to Jim and Trudy's weekly visits to Fromagerie. The love of his family was so evident through the numerous stories he would share in his gregarious manner. I hope that all of the wonderful memories that you have made will sustain you during this very difficult time.

I will always remember "Big Jim" tossing the football to us down at South End, with the promise of a milkshake if you caught the ball. I am not sure I ever got the milkshake. He will be missed. Matt Ping

Trudy, Jim, Kath, Maureen, Billy, Eileen and Eddie,
I have so many wonderful memories of your husband/dad over the past 30+ years. This truly hits home when one of your best friends loses their parent. I know that Mr. Hackett's spirit is strong, just like each of you. Let there be memories, pictures, videos and stories and relive the joys and great times you all had.
With deepest sympathy,
