Jean Lyons Obituary
AGE: 74 • Piscataway
Jean H. Lyons, 74, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 9, 2011 at Care One Center in Hamilton. Born in New Brunswick, she grew up in Iselin before moving to Piscataway over forty years ago. Jean retired from Foley Inc., in Piscataway where she was a credit manager. She was a communicant of St. Frances Cabrini Church in Piscataway, a member and former president of the Piscataway Garden Club and a member of the Garden Club of New Jersey.
Mrs. Lyons was predeceased by her loving husband, Mr. Joseph Lyons who passed away in 1994. Surviving are her daughters, Cynthia Gallagher-Tenaglia and her husband Alfred Tenaglia of Hamilton and Theresa Praskach of Massachusetts; her son, Thomas Praskach and his wife Lisa of New York; her sister, Doris Morazan and her husband Marco of Edison; her grandchildren, Jamie Poore, Michael and Emily Praskach and her great grandchildren, Joel and Julia Poore.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held Saturday, 10:00 am at St. Frances Cabrini Church in Piscataway followed by interment in the Resurrection Burial Park in Piscataway. Cyndy, Terry, Tom, Jamie and Family - so sorry to hear that Jean passed away. She was very nice wonderful person and I enjoyed working with her while she was at Foley. No matter how tough the day was, she always had a smile on her face and something nice to say.
