Jessica Mills Obituary
AGE: 21 • Hopelawn
Jessica Mills, 21, a lifelong resident of Hopelawn, died Friday morning at home.
She is survived by her parents, John Mills and Lorraine Bolten Mills. Two brothers, John Paul and Mark. Maternal grandparents Harry & Josephine Bolten. Many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
The former WHS student was known for her kind-hearted spirit and beautiful smile. Jessica touched the lives of everyone who met her and will be remembered as the angel she was always meant to be.
Services will be held Monday, January 14th at Mitruska Funeral Home in Fords, 2-4pm and 7-9pm. There will be a mass at 10:30am Tuesday at Our Lady of Peace Church.

Lorraine, John, John Paul and Mark,
It has taken me days to even bring myself to compose the right words for this, truth is there will never be correct words to say good bye to my dearest friend. Jessica as we all know was one in a million. She knew everything there was to know about me, a companionship that evolved over 15+ years. She was always my only "go-to" person. She was my confidant. As I remember the lifetime of memories we have shared, I have a million emotions, happy, sad, guilt, anger, love etc. It's really heart breaking to know I will never get another hug from my best friend. She always knew how to cheer me up and she knew what was wrong with out having to say a word. I miss her so much words can't describe. I know that she is safe in God's hands. And I am happy for her that she has found peace. I will never forget you, Jessica, it would be impossible, you will always be my best friend and our sisterly bond I will cherish until the day we meet again. I will never stop praying for you. Watch over us. I love you.

You were my family! Like a sister rather than my best friend. I was over ALL the time! Memories from teen nights to photoshoots down in the basement, to the fun times we had at the park around the corner, to who we had crushes on. I can't even begin to express my deepest sympathy for the loss of your daughter and sister. I will always remember Jessica as the soft spoken little girl who loved Tweety Bird and Tigger, and sleepovers with my sister. Jessica always had a smile on her face. I remember getting excited when she'd come over because she was the only one who let me practice braiding her hair and she would do my nails for me, perfectly everytime. As Jess and Megan grew up, they'd "borrow" my clothes and CD's which always led to arguments that sisters usually have. I am truly glad that I had the chance to know Jessica and watch her grow up into the beautiful woman she was. I've always admired the friendship Megan and Jessica had and I'm blessed that my sister had Jess to call her best friend. My thoughts and prayers will be with you today and always. <3
